Communicating Effectively
There are more ways to communicate than ever – and more ways to fail. With the options of email, WhatsApp, teams, video and telephone conferencing adding to the traditional methods of telephone, letters, reports and meetings, we can be forgiven for getting it wrong. After all, it is seldom what we say, but the way we say it.
This 2 day course is designed to help delegates develop a planned and strategic approach to interpersonal communications.
We look at the range of options in the context of typical organisational concerns and challenges. The delegates then use these to plan and execute communications in a lively set of exercises and roleplays.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
Judge the merits and applications of different interpersonal communication media
Devise a practical communications strategy
Link different communication media to produce a powerful overall message
